Caryn B. Davis is a commercial, architectural, editorial, marine, portrait and fine art photographer working out of Chester, Connecticut. Carynâ€™s photographs have appeared in over fifty leading national and international publications, and have been exhibited in numerous galleries and venues.
Caryn B. Davis began her career in the visual arts 23 years ago as an independent Producer/Writer of television documentaries which aired on The Learning Channel, The History Channel, The Travel Channel, The Discovery Channel, Showtime, Flix and The Movie Channel. In addition to writing television scripts, Caryn also works as a journalist. Her articles have been published in a variety of magazines and newspapers.
In 1999 Caryn served as a Media Producer with Orbis International, a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating blindness worldwide. She traveled to eleven third world countries onboard the Orbis DC-10; the worlds only flying eye hospital, creating teaching videos for doctors and local hospitals. On the weekends, Caryn traveled the countries she was visiting, photographing the different people, cultures and landscapes.
Caryn B. Davis is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers, and a board member for the Essex Art Association. She also teaches photography to children and adults.
