As a freelance editor, Brian specializes in publications about economics, public policy, and international affairs. Clients include the United States Institute of Peace, the Peter G. Peterson Institute for International Economics, and Columbia University Press; He also currently copyedits the journals Eastern European Economics and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade for M.E. Sharpe, an academic publisher. Finally, he is one of the editors of the New Haven Review, a new journal based in New Haven, Connecticut.
Before becoming a freelancer, Brian was senior editor of the Journal of International Affairs, the public-policy journal of Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). He holds a masters in international affairs from SIPA, specializing in economic development and international law, and a bachelor of arts in English from Williams College.
