HARTFORD, Conn. (April 23, 2012) – Faith Middleton, award-winning WNPR interviewer, hosts the second annual Food Schmooze Martini Competition, part of the Faith Middleton Food Schmooze Signature Event Series. The celebration takes place Thursday, June 28 at 6 p.m. at Farmington Gardens in Farmington, Conn.
Attendees can sample over 30 different “tini” tastes from Connecticut’s best mixologists while savoring small bites from the state’s best chefs! Then everyone can vote for their favorite concoction and help the Food Schmooze declare its Official Cocktail, all while supporting the local programming initiatives at WNPR. The winner will be announced before the night is through. This one-of-a-kind event sold out last year, and it is expected to do so again.
Join one of Connecticut’s favorite talk show hosts, Faith Middleton, for an evening full of delicious dishes and cocktails that cannot be matched. Tickets are $85 for general admission and $65 for designated drivers; only guests 21 years and older will be admitted. The price of admission includes all cocktails as well as a wide variety of different foods from some of the state’s best restaurants, including Plan B, Tisane, Peppercorn, The Half Door, The Pond House Grille and Farmington Gardens.
