The Huskies have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming season, and so has CPTV’s Hoop Streams, your online source for CPTV’s coverage of UConn Women’s Basketball. Now in its seventh season online, Hoop Streams is prepared to capture the Huskies’ run at a third straight championship with crisper video and five times faster streaming speed.
Hoop Streams provides live and on-demand access to CPTV-aired UConn games, The Geno Auriemma Show, archived games from the 2010-2011 season and more. Subscribers to the service have the flexibility to watch the games live on their computer or at a later date, and as many times as they choose.

This past season the Huskies have done what no team has done before, win two consecutive national championships with two undefeated seasons. At 78 straight wins, the team is ten games away from the NCAA men’s basketball record (John Wooden’s 88-game bender at UCLA). The road to a third straight and record-tying 8th program national championship will not be an easy one; the Huskies have one of the toughest schedules in the NCAA, facing 22 teams from the 2010 NCAA tournament, seven teams that finished in the Top Ten, and all three other teams that made it to last year’s Final Four.
Despite the road that lies ahead, preseason prognosticators Athlon, Lindy’s Sports, and The Sporting News have all selected the defending national champions as No. 1 in preseason ranking.
