Guido’s Orchestra: Live from the Heart of Europe Premieres on Thursday, March 11 at 8 p.m. on CPTV

Release Date: 03/05/2010

On Thursday, March 11 at 8 p.m., tune for the CPTV premiere of Guido’s Orchestra: Live from the Heart of Europe.

Guido’s Orchestra is a richly talented, pop-loving orchestra. Originally from Holland, the group is now taking the world by storm. Led by the charismatic Guido Dieteren, Guido’s Orchestra provides amazing sound and stage performances – performances that showcase the personalities of not only Guido himself, but his wife, Principle Soprano Soloist Wendy Kokkelkoren.

Guido’s Orchestra: Live from the Heart of Europe was recorded at the point where Holland, Belgium and Germany meet. This concert special stars Guido, his young orchestra, and Wendy, who performs her European hit “The 7 Cs,” during which she sings seven high Cs in one song. This performance also features a touching rendition of John Williams’ theme from Schindler’s List, as well as beloved Beethoven and Mozart compositions, and more.

Guido and Wendy will be visiting the CPTV studio during the premiere to discuss the making of the concert and their unique sound. Viewers will also get information about special ticket opportunities to an upcoming Guido’s Orchestra perfomrance as part of CPTV’s Red Carpet Experience series.
