HARTFORD, Conn. -- Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) is making your holiday season a little more festive with four specials that have two things in common: great music and Red Carpet opportunities. Tune in to each of these programs on November 28 for information on how to get exclusive CPTV Red Carpet tickets to upcoming Connecticut concerts featuring Rieu, O’Donnell, Bennett and Peter, Paul & Mary.

André Rieu: Live in Tuscany
World-renowned violinist, conductor and composer André Rieu performs at the Piazza Della Republica outside of the beautiful Tuscan village of Cortona. Rieu and his orchestra perform fan-favorites like "Lagune Waltz," "The Rose," "La Paloma” and "All Men Shall Be Brothers (Ode to Joy)” and more.
 
Daniel O’Donnell: At Home in Ireland
Taped at the Letterkenny Concert Hall in County Donegal and from other favorite locations in Ireland, O’Donnell performs familiar Irish tunes and a selection of American pop standards. Audiences are treated to renditions of “Destination Donegal,” “Dear Old Galway Town,” “The Blue Hills of Breffini” and “My Lovely Rose of Clare.” He also performs his rendition of “It Is No Secret” in the church where he was baptized, received first communion and married his wife.
 
Tony Bennett: The Music Never Ends
Frank Sinatra once called Tony Bennett “the best singer in the business,” and Bennett shows viewers why in this detailed account of his uncommon talent and uncommon life.
Presented by the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning PBS series American Masters, this special contains a rich historical archive, as well as interviews with Bennett’s friends, including Harry Belafonte, Clint Eastwood, Arthur Penn and others.
 
Peter, Paul & Mary: Carry It On
A great night of music is highlighted with Peter, Paul & Mary: Carry it On, A Musial Legacy. This PBS original special documents the trio's four decade-long career, and features rare archival performances of songs that energized the spirit of the nation's cultural and political renaissance. Discover why Coretta Scott King once described the folk group as, “The performing arts’ most outstanding champions of social justice and peace.”
