CPTV Sports Broadcasts LIVE CIAC High School Basketball & Hockey Championships This Weekend
Airs Friday, March 15 through Monday, March 18 on CPTV Sports
CPTV Sports – the state’s only 24-hour local sports channel – will be broadcasting LIVE coverage of the CIAC high school basketball and hockey championships this weekend.
Broadcasting the basketball games from Mohegan Sun in Montville, CPTV Sports will present hours of coverage of the high school match-ups, including pre-game, halftime and post-game reports by sports announcer Glenn Conticello. Bob Joyce will provide play-by-play with Adam Finkelstein offering color commentary.

11:30 a.m. Class S Girls: #3 Thomaston vs. #1 Capital Prep – LIVE Broadcast!
1:30 p.m. Class L Girls: #10 Farmington vs. #1 Bacon Academy – LIVE Broadcast!
4:15 p.m. Class L Boys: #2 Woodstock Academy vs. #1 Trinity Catholic – LIVE Broadcast!
6:15 p.m. Class LL Girls: #2 Lauralton Hall vs. #1 Mercy – LIVE Broadcast!
This weekend, CPTV Sports will also be covering CIAC High School Hockey Championships from Yale’s Ingalls Rink in New Haven. Dan Boyle will offer play-by-play coverage of the games on Sunday and Monday night with Matthew Conyers providing color commentary for Sunday’s game and Randy Brochu doing color on Monday night.
