CPTV Sports Announces Game and Program Highlights for Sept. 9-15

Highlights Include LIVE High School Football & WNBA Basketball, plus American Masters: Billie Jean King, Auto Racing, Beyond the Beat and more

 

HARTFORD, Conn. (September 6, 2013) – CPTV Sports is Connecticut’s only 24-hour local sports network, covering statewide high school sports, college match-ups, professional sports competitions and more.

Monday, September 9

5:30 p.m.          Classic Hockey: Whalers vs. Soviet Team

7 p.m.               WNBA Basketball: Connecticut Sun at Indiana Fever

9 p.m.               Ken Burns’ Tenth Inning (Part 1”Top of the Tenth”)

 

Tuesday, September 10

7 p.m.               Beyond the Beat – Hosted by broadcast sports journalist Joe Zone, this weekly CPTV Sports talk show features the state’s sportswriters discussing the week in local sports.

7:30 p.m.          Dreams Go By – a CPTV original documentary about the inspiring story of 16 boys from Windsor Locks, Connecticut who attained the ultimate dream of a Little League World Championship in the summer of 1965.

8 p.m.               American Masters: Billie Jean King

9:30 p.m.          POV: Ping Pong
