Singer/Songwriter Pacheco Will Be Appearing in the Hartford Studios for the Broadcast
Premieres Saturday, August 11 at 8 p.m. on Connecticut Public Television (CPTV)
HARTFORD, Conn. (August 7, 2012) – On the heels of a recent sold-out concert tour of the United Kingdom with soprano Katherine Jenkins (Dancing with the Stars) and the National Symphony Orchestra, and the release of his debut album, Introducing Nathan Pacheco on Disney Pearl Series, the popular young American singer-songwriter brings his own solo concert special to public television.
On Saturday, August 11 at 8 p.m., Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) will premiere Introducing Nathan Pacheco, with the singer appearing in the public television network’s Hartford studio for the premiere. During the broadcast, viewers will hear about an upcoming ticket opportunity to see Nathan Pacheco perform in Connecticut.
PBS audiences will know Nathan from his spectacular PBS debut with the Yanni Voices special and will be moved and amazed by this show. Accompanied by world renowned musicians and orchestra, Nathan performs beautiful original compositions along with newly created renditions of a few beloved classics.
Nathan was discovered by producer Ric Wake (Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston) and was a featured performer with pianist/composer Yanni on a tour of the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Nathan has been featured on several national television broadcasts including two PBS television specials and the ABC/Disney Parks Christmas Parade. He has performed for His Royal Highness Prince Charles at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C. performed “O’ Holy Night” on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, Philadelphia’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the London Symphony Orchestra as a fully integrated special guest artist and performed duets with
Katherine Jenkins and classic favorites along with songs from his debut album all in the past year. In addition, Nathan performed for the 100th Anniversary of the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. both on the south lawn of the White House and at the Washington Monument.
Though known best for his singing, Nathan is also an avid composer. He has completed his debut album, writing and collaborating with multi-platinum composer/producer Leo-Z (Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban). The album was larely completed in London, England at the legendary Air Lyndhurst Studios with London’s Philharmonia Orchestra and will be released in September of 2012 on Disney Pearl.
