CPTV Nominated for Nine Regional Emmy Awards
The Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network (CPBN) is proud to announce that Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) has received nine Regional Emmy nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Boston/New England Chapter for the 2010 television season. Award winners will be announced at the 34th Boston/New England Emmy Awards ceremony at Granite Links Golf Club in
“We are extremely pleased to be recognized for our local as well as national presence in the television programming arena,” said Jerry Franklin, president and CEO of CPBN. “These nominations are testimony to our ongoing commitment to producing quality programs for and about our state and the audiences we serve.”
Since 1989, CPTV Original productions have earned 82 Regional Emmy Awards and 360 Regional Emmy Award nominations.
