CPTV Celebrates Rock & Roll Royalty with Daryl Hall and John Oates – Live at the Troubadour

Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) presents Billboard Chart-topping “rock n’ soul” duo Daryl Hall and John Oates performing in Daryl Hall and John Oates – Live at the Troubadour on Saturday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m. Airing as part of CPTV’s Saturday Night Performances series, this special presentation will include information on CPTV Red Carpet Ticket Opportunities to see Daryl Hall and John Oates perform live at an upcoming Connecticut concert.
 
In May 2008, Daryl Hall and John Oates took the stage together at Los Angeles’ legendary Troubadour Theater – their first time playing at the venue in 35 years. The resulting performance is captured in Daryl Hall and John Oates – Live at the Troubadour, which features such unforgettable hits such as “Man-eater,” “Private Eyes,” “Rich Girl,” “Kiss On My List,” “She’s Gone,” “One on One,” “You Make My Dreams,” and their Grammy-nominated single “Sara Smile.”
 
“John and I have a lot of great memories associated with performing at the Troubadour, since it was our first show in L.A.,” said Daryl. “It’s like going back to where it all began for us. We’ve always had an enthusiastic following in Los Angeles, and this is a chance for our fans to see us up close and personal in an intimate setting.”

Daryl Hall and John Oates began their music career in the early ’70s, and since then they have produced six number-one singles and five Top 10 singles from their six consecutive multi-platinum albums, including Bigger Than Both of Us (1976); Voices (1980); Private Eyes (1981); H2O (1982); Rock N Soul, Part I (1983); and Big Bam Boom (1984). They have been recognized by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as the number-one selling duo in music history.
