CPTV Celebrates Motown with the Boyz II Men Concert Event Motown: A Journey Through Hitsville USA

HARTFORD, Conn. – Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) and four-time Grammy winners Boys II Men bring viewers a toe-tapping Motown extravaganza with Motown: A Journey Through Hitsville USA. The concert will air on Monday, December 1 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. and will be re-broadcast on Tuesday, December 2 at 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. Motown: A Journey Through Hitsville USA airs as part of CPTV’s December 2008 membership campaign, and during the presentation, viewers will learn how to gain exclusive access to upcoming CPTV Red Carpet Series concert events.
 
Motown: A Journey Through Hitsville USA features R&B superstars Boyz II Men performing covers of classic Motown hits, including “Tracks of my Tears,” “Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology),” “Reach Out/I’ll Be There” and more. They also perform original hits like “Motownphilly,” “End of the Road” and “It’s so Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday.” With a special guest appearance by Brian McKnight, it’s a sing-along concert for the whole family.
