Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) is pleased to announce that it will air Billy Joel: A Matter of Trust – The Bridge to Russia – The Concert on Wednesday, April 9 at 8 p.m.
Airing for the first time on a PBS station, Billy Joel: A Matter of Trust – The Bridge to Russia – The Concert showcases legendary singer, songwriter and pianist Billy Joel connecting with the Russian people during the era of the Cold War as he performs at over six concerts in Moscow and Leningrad in the former Soviet Union. The Concert features newly restored and remastered material from Live in
Produced and restored by Emmy-winning documentarian Jim Brown (Pete Seeger: The Power of Song, American Roots Music, An Evening with Henry Belafonte), The Concert features classic Joel fan-favorites, hits from the 1986 album The Bridge, covers and more.
