Release Date: 03/23/2010

Host Jason Hawkins Appears in Mystery Locations Each Week and CPTV Viewers Are Invited to Guess His Location to Win a Prize

Premieres Thursday nights at 8 p.m. beginning March 25 with encore broadcasts on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. beginning March 27

All Things Connecticut (ATC) returns to Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) this spring with an all-new season of shows every Thursday night at 8 p.m. beginning March 25 with encore broadcasts on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. In CPTV’s weekly “tour de force” magazine-style series, new host Jason Hawkins is featuring a new weekly segment called “Where’s Jason?”

“Where’s Jason?” features Hawkins (also known to many viewers as the vivacious host of CPTV’s Eating CT) reporting from “mystery locations” throughout the state. While the locations won’t be revealed during the program, viewers are invited to send in their guesses to the CPTV web site (cptv.org, Keywords: All Things Connecticut) to enter to win a prize!

Hawkins brings his epicurean sensibilities to “Where’s Jason?”, with many of the mystery locations involving great food. As Jason explains, “I can’t give anything away, but I can tell you that I eat a 2-foot hot dog, visit a top-secret wine vault, drink a potentially deadly sake and get kissed by a goat...which is always fun. Okay, not really.”

All Things Connecticut’sWhere's Jason?” segment is made possible by Thomas Hooker Brewing Company’s new Munich-Style Lager. Thomas Hooker Brewing Company has recently teamed up with the Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network by offering the proceeds from every sale of its Munich-Style Lager to benefit the programming and services of CPTV and WNPR.
