Connecticut Sports Network (CTSN) Game and Program Highlights for Week of January 3

Highlights Include 2010 CIAC Football Championships; 2010 CIAC Boy’s and Girl’s Volleyball Championships; 2010 CIAC Field Hockey Championships; and GameTime on CTSN
The Connecticut Sports Network (CTSN) is Connecticut’s first-ever 24-hour local sports network, covering statewide high school and college sports. A combined effort of CPTV and WFSB-TV, CTSN is brought to viewers by the Comcast Corporation and Cox Communications and is available on Comcast cable channels 185, 187 and 744 and on the Cox Communications cable system channel 144. High school sports and CIAC championship games are sponsored by ConnecticutLightingCenters, Sportsworx and the New England Musculoskeletal Institute at UConnHealthCenter. College basketball is made possible by Town Fair Tire. High school football is sponsored by ConnecticutRentalCenter. In addition, GameTime on CTSN is sponsored by the New England Musculoskeletal Institute at UConnHealthCenter and A.R. Mazzotta.
For the week of January 3 through January 7, CTSN’s program highlights include:
Monday, January 3
7 p.m. – 2010 CIAC Class S StateHigh School Football Championship – St. Joseph vs. Ansonia
Tuesday, January 4
7:30 p.m. – 2010 CIAC Class M Girl’s State High School Volleyball Championship – Joel Barlow vs. RHAM
Wednesday, January 5
8 p.m. – 2010 CIAC Class L Boy’s State High School Volleyball Championship – Southington vs. Staples
Thursday, January 6
6:30 p.m. – GameTime on CTSN– CTSN’s weekly high school and college sports preview show
Friday, January 7
7 p.m. – 2010 CIAC Class L State High School Field Hockey Championship – Pomperaug vs. Glastonbury
