Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network (CPBN) Hires Paul O. Robertson as its New Senior Vice President of Corporate Development

 The Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network – parent company to Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) and WNPR/Connecticut Public Radio – has hired Paul O. Robertson as its new Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. Robertson, who begins his new position on July 2, will oversee all corporate and online marketing for the statewide public broadcasting network.

 A seasoned professional with more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience, Robertson has spent the majority of his career developing and managing radio, television and sports sponsorships. His most recent role was as Associate General Manager with IMG Worldwide College Division/UConn Sports Marketing, where he developed sponsorship programs for UConn Athletics.

 Before IMG, Robertson served as the Station Manager for Radio Disney in Manchester, Connecticut. He has had extensive experience in sales and management at Buckley Broadcasting/WDRC, NBC/PAX Television and WRCH. Beginning in the early 1980s, Robertson helped build and develop the FM radio station, WQTQ, at Weaver High School, growing the station’s audience and training high school students in all aspect of media.
