In All Things Connecticut Special Edition: The Craft Beer Show, host Jason Hawkins provides insight into the craft brewing world by visiting different breweries throughout Connecticut and telling the fascinating stories behind these local brewers. Hawkins visits the Willimantic Brewery and East Hartford’s Old Burnside Brewing Company. And in the “Where’s Jason?” segment, he travels to a mystery Connecticut brewery with one of the largest beer memorabilia collections in the country. In addition, correspondent Eric Clemons meets a local man who loves to teach others how to brew beer in their own home. Hawkins is also joined by Thomas Hooker Brewery president Curt Cameron, who schools viewers on how to taste beer properly and how to distinguish its different flavors and notes. Hawkins even imparts some little-known beer facts. For instance, did you know that prior to Prohibition almost every town in Connecticut had its own brewery?
