Many new breweries and restaurants have signed on to participate in CPTV and WNPR’s first annual Craft Beer and Chili Challenge event at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Sunday, August 22 from 1-4 p.m. So far 35 breweries and almost 15 Connecticut restaurants will be offering their craft beers and chilis for visitors to taste and enjoy. With over 2,000 attendees expected, the Craft Beer and Chili Challenge is going to be the biggest event of its kind in the state.

Visitors to the event will be able to sample a vast selection of craft-brewed beers, as well as a variety of chili – from hearty and meaty, to hot and spicy, to vegetarian, and everything in between. Then everyone can vote on their favorites and the best beer and chili in Connecticut will be crowned.
