Enter to Win WNPR’s Free Ticket Giveaway to Garde Arts Center’s The Pajama Game

Release Date: 03/11/2009

HARTFORD, Conn. – In partnership with the Garde Arts Center, WNPR/Connecticut Public Radio (www.wnpr.org) is giving away free four-packs of tickets to the laugh-out-loud family musical The Pajama Game on Sunday, March 22 at the Garde Arts Center, 325 State Street in New London, Connecticut.

Bright and riotously funny, this all-new production of the Tony award-winning Broadway smash hit – which first made its debut on Broadway in 1955, and then again in 2006 – is contemporary musical theatre comedy at its very best. The employees of the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory are looking for a whopping 7-1/2 cent raise, and they won't take “no” for an answer. Babe Williams is their feisty employee representative, but she may have found her match in the shop superintendent, Sid Sorokin. When the two get together, their negotiations quickly heat up – and turn delightfully personal. The high-energy score by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross brims with popular hits and musical theatre standards such as “Hey There,” “Steam Heat” and the hilarious, hummable “Hernando's Hideaway.”

Entry forms, ticket giveaway information and contest rules are available at www.wnpr.org. Visit the “Contests and Promotions” page to enter to win.
