Daniel O’Donnell to Host Live Premiere of Daniel O’Donnell: Hope and Praise on CPTV Tuesday, March 3 at 8 p.m.
HARTFORD, Conn. – He’s become a sensation in his native Ireland and impressed the globe with his vocal talents. Now, Daniel O’Donnell is coming to the Connecticut Public Television (CPTV, www.cptv.org) studio to host the live premiere of Daniel O’Donnell: Hope and Praise, his ninth public television special. Tune in on Tuesday, March 3 at 8 p.m.
The emotional, uplifting performance features O’Donnell’s heartfelt renditions of multi-denominational hymns, up-tempo gospel songs and pop tunes, including favorites such as “What a Wonderful World” and John Denver’s “Annie’s Song.” O’Donnell is accompanied by a 24-member young adult choir, a 12-member children’s choir, an orchestra, a band and his longtime performance partner, Mary Duff.
Full of touching moments and a warm, buoyant message, Daniel O’Donnell: Hope and Praise on CPTV, featuring studio guest O’Donnell himself introducing the show, will impress, delight and inspire viewers.
