Frederica Von Stade performs a concert of French and American music.
The American opera star made her MET debut in 1970, and since then has
sung at virtually every celebrated opera house, performing all of the
great Mezzo roles in the Operatic repertoire. Known to friends and fans
worldwide as “Flickaâ€, Von Stade has made over seventy recordings on
every major label.
WNPR's Ray Hardman asked her about her memories of Tanglewood, where she has performed many, many times before.
