The WALLINGFORD SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA will present its next concert at 7:30 pm on Friday, April 25, 2014, at the Paul Mellon Arts Center on the campus of Choate Rosemary Hall, 333 Christian Street, Wallingford, Connecticut.
The Symphony will feature Mozart’s “Symphony No. 39”, Rossini’s “Overture to La Gazza Ladra”, Respighi’s “Fountains of Rome” and “On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring” by Frederick Delius.
There will be a guest appearance by Jim Beloff, nationally known for his skill on the ukulele performing “Uke Can’t Be Serious”. Concertgoers who play the ukulele are encouraged to bring them to the concert as Mr. Beloff will provide a free master lesson during the intermission!
There will be a reception following the concert and everyone is welcome to attend for refreshments and to meet the performers.
