Tunxis Professor's Works Featured at Inaugural Gallery Exhibition
Ticket Price: free

The public is invited to “Selections of Works 1980-2008” by William Kluba, the inaugural exhibition in the new Wallace Barnes and Barbara Hackman Franklin Art Gallery at Tunxis Community College March 24-April 18. The opening reception is March 24, 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Approximately 30 works of art will be on exhibit, including paintings, drawings, pastels, digital art, and mixed media by William Kluba, Tunxis professor of fine arts, an exhibiting artist whose works have been on display nationwide during the past 35 years.

“My newest work plays on the idea that we are all vessels, and what we put in or don’t put in to our ‘vessel’ reflects who and what we are,” said Kluba, who will give a talk on April 3, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. about his pieces. Kluba is teaching “Three-Dimensional Design” and “Photographic Image Development” during Spring 2008 semester. He holds an M.F.A. from University of Wisconsin, Madison.
