Led by the Trinity College Chapel Singers, the Trinity Choir, and the Trinity College Guild of Carillonneurs, the Service of Lessons and Carols for Christmas celebrates its 52nd year. The services will be held at the Chapel of Trinity College on Sunday, December 5, at two identical services, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Over the years, this service has ushered in the beginning of the holiday season for many in the Greater Hartford community, and the public is warmly invited to attend. Due to the anticipated crowds, early arrival is encouraged. www.trincoll.edu.
The Lessons and Carols service is one of Hartford’s oldest continuing traditions of celebrating the upcoming Christmas season, and will include music of the season offered by the Trinity College Chapel Singers (the oldest continuing student group on campus), the Trinity College Concert Choir, and the Trinity College Guild of Carillonneurs.
