In an effort to help walkers with distance training, we have scheduled four vehicle-supported training walks for the longer training distances. All training walks begin at 7:00 a.m. The walk distances and locations are as follows:
Sunday, August 5, Old Saybrook - 14 miles
Saturday, August 11, Mystic - 16 miles
Sunday, August 26, Old Saybrook - 18 miles
Saturday, September 15, Mystic - 20 miles
Walkers are provided with training and fundraising support and the opportunity to meet others who come together for a common cause and purpose. Walkers can make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. Challenge yourself...challenge your friends and family...there’s an option for everyone to participate!

TBBCF is a local non-profit committed to fighting breast cancer by donating100% of gross fundraising dollars directly to breast cancer research. Over the last six years, through donations and fundraising efforts, the Foundation has funded 21 grants totaling over $2 million to promising breast cancer researchers from such organizations as Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Memorial Sloan–Kettering Cancer Center, Harvard Medical School, and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
