Pajama Party Sing-Along with Lizzie Swan will be a Howlin' Good Time

Lizze Swan, founder of the award-winning group Swingset Mamas, returns to the Stamford Museum & Nature Center on Friday, Nov. 14, for a special animal-themed sing-along from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Bendel Mansion (main building).

Participants are encouraged to don their pajamas and bring along a favorite "pet" - of the stuffed toy variety - and join in on the fun.

Ms. Swan will lead the sing-along with some Swingset Mama favorites like "Kelly Gemelli," a song about a local dog who get herself into a very sticky situation with some peanut butter and jelly. There will be plenty of room to dance and sing along with Ms. Swan and your favorite stuffed pet.

Come early and check out our latest exhibition, Pets in America. Don't forget to stop by Children's Corner to share stories and pictures of your favorite pet.

Pre-registration is required. Space is limited to 75 participants and is on first come, first serve basis. Members: $5 per person, Non-members: $8. To register, call 203.322.1646, ext. 6521. The program is appropriate for children 3 and older.

Swingset Mamas have recently added several awards to their repetoire, including the 2008 Parents Choice Award for Outstanding DVD, the 2008 iParenting Media Award, and 2008 Best of the Gold Coast Award for Best Romper Rock.
