Old Fashioned Christmas in Connecticut
Pianist Paul Bisaccia with Crooner David Giardina
The East Hartford Fine Arts Commission is pleased to present Paul Bisaccia with special guest David Giardina. The concert will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the afternoon in First Congregational Church, 837 Main Street (corner of Main Street and Connecticut Boulevard), East Hartford. Admission is free!
David and Paul grew up in Connecticut and share their memories of an Old Fashioned Christmas in Connecticut. Included will be many of your favorites including White Christmas, Sleigh Ride (written by Connecticut native Leroy Anderson) and Mel Torme’s The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire.) Paul will also play his own arrangement of The Nutcracker Suite.
David Giardina has performed throughout the U.S., worked in film and on TV, and sung at the Rainbow Room in New York. Paul Bisaccia has television shows on PBS and has made hundreds of recordings. Together they will present a festive afternoon of holiday delight and nostalgia.
