Grammy Award-winning music legend, JUDY COLLINS, is guest speaker at The Connection Fund's Fourth Annual Connecting with Hope Gala on Friday, June 15, 2012. The charity event will be held from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. in the ballroom of the Courtyard by Marriott, 4 Sebethe Drive, Cromwell. The evening includes a cocktail social (cash bar), elegant buffet, silent and live auctions, live music, and a brief agency presentation. Ms. Collins will share about her stellar career spanning five decades and 36 albums; sing a few songs, including her hits, Send in the Clowns and Both Sides Now; and participate in an audience Q&A. She will greet guests and sign copies of her new book, Sweet Judy Blue Eyes, and her new album, Bohemian, which will be available for purchase at the event. The Connection serves 6,000 children and adults each month in every part of Connecticut through its supportive housing, behavioral health, community justice, and women and children's programs; the nonprofit organization is observing its 40th anniversary in 2012.
