Lighthouse Point Park Migration Festival September 23, 2012
Celebrating Birds, Butterflies & Dragonflies
Sunday, September 23, 2012, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (No Rain Date) A suggested donation of $5 per car is requested to help fund next year's event
Each autumn, tens of thousands of hawks, songbirds, butterflies, and dragonflies pass through Lighthouse Point Park, a recognized Important Bird Area, on their migrations southward. Come celebrate this awesome spectacle Sunday September 23, 2012, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. There will be bird walks for all ages, a bird banding demonstration, a hawks-in-flight ID workshop, live raptor shows, lighthouse tours, butterfly tagging and more!!!
