It’s National Honey Month! Join us to celebrate the colonial legacy of the honey bee and don’t miss your last chance to visit the 1750 Ogden House before it closes for the season.

Learn about beekeeping with Tess Brown, the Fairfield University Beekeeping Mentor, and the efforts of beekeepers who keep this important tradition alive.

Enjoy sun tea and refreshments made with honey and browse unique bee-themed gifts from the Museum Shop, available for purchase. Family-friendly activities will include wreath-making with fragrant herbs and flowers from the Colonial Kitchen Garden. Docents will lead historic house tours throughout the day inside the period rooms of the 1750 Ogden House.
