Culture Connect Featured Event
The Manchester Symphony Orchestra and Chorale, conducted by Kevin L. Mack, join forces for Haydn & Brahms: Their First and Last, a concert of the first and last works for chorus and orchestra from two great composers. The program includes Franz Josef Haydn’s Harmoniemesse and Missa Brevis in F, and two works by Johannes Brahms: Ave Maria for women’s voices and Gesang der Parzen. Soloists are members of the chorale, and guest artists Allison Dunn, Floyd Higgins, and Ray Hardman.
