Culture Connect Featured Event
The Greenwich Choral Society presents “Eternal Joy,” a concert with
music by Mozart, Mahoney, and Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, at 4:30 on Sunday,
May 5. On the program are Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Requiem,” with
Robert Levin’s completion, the brilliant setting of “Three Bronte Songs,” by Shafer Mahoney, and “Richte mich, Gott,” by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. The chorus, with over 120 choristers, orchestra, and vocal soloists, will be conducted by Paul F. Mueller. The concert will take place at Christ Church Greenwich, 254 East Putnam Avenue, and tickets, priced at $38 and $28 (with special prices for students), can be ordered online at greenwichchoralsociety.org or by phone at 203-622-5136.
