 Embark on the exciting journey of Clara as she travels from an enchanted seaport in 1850’s New London CT, through glistening Snowflakes to meet all the Sugar Plum Fairy’s magical friends in the Land of Sweets.  Children of all ages love the fanciful opening party scene and the thrill of battle on the high seas with the brave Nutcracker, Sailors, Pirates, and the Rat King.  The legendary music of Tchaikovsky will be performed live by Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra with acclaimed guest artists from PA Ballet and more, with over 120 professionally trained regional dancers at the historic Garde Arts Center.  Come be entertained in sumptuous style right in your own backyard!
