Culture Connect Featured Event
For a third season, Dog-Eared Dancers is returning to Norfolk, Connecticut.
Presented by the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, the Manhattan-based group will perform at The Music Shed, Ellen Battell Stoeckel Estate, Rtes. 44 & 272, Norfolk, on Sat., Aug. 11, 3:30 p.m.
The group will present a varied repertory of dances (modern, ballet, musical theater, and classical Indian) evoking a range of moods, themes, and images from the glamorous footlights of Broadway to the contemplative quiet of a sculpture gallery.
The four principals—Juliette Soucie, Chandana Sikund, Nettie Capasso, and John Curtis-Michael—will be joined by six guest artists—Andrea Shasgus Parkinson, Annmaria Mazzini, Caitlin Carter, Gigi Oppenheimer, Susanna Frazer, and Whitney Webster.
