The Hole in the Wall Theater (HITW), 16 Main Street in New Britain, Connecticut, will be holding its annual Celtic Music festival/fundraiser on Saturday, February 16th at the theater.
Ceilidh VI – Cirque du Ceilidh (pronounced KAY-lee), is a festival featuring traditional and modern Celtic music from artists such as U2, The Chieftains, The Irish Rovers, The Pogues, and Van Morrison. This is the sixth annual Ceilidh with entertainment provided by the band The Rude Mechanicals and a variety of guest singers.
There will be two performances; a matinee at 2:00 PM and an evening performance at 7:00 PM in which the content will be different from each other, so audiences are encouraged to attend both shows. Ticket price for the matinee is $10.00 and $15.00 for the evening performance PLUS there is a special combo price of $20.00 for both shows.
Hole in the Wall employs a BYOB policy and there will be food for sale. Also please consider bringing a non-perishable food item for the "HOLE Food Campaign" which supports food pantries in the Greater New Britain Area. For reservations and directions please call 860.220.3049 or go to www.hitw.org.
