Culture Connect Featured Event
The 11th season of the Bruyette Athenaeum’s Performing Arts Series will conclude with Cole Fusion, the music of Cole Porter and his contemporaries in a fusion of different styles. This unique show by the performance group Buffa was crafted specifically for Saint Joseph College.
Featured on the program will be works by Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Duke Ellington, including such favorites as Night and Day, I Get a Kick Out of You, I Got Rhythm, Embraceable You, In the Still of the Night, You'd Be So Nice to Come Home To, Brush Up Your Shakespeare, Someone to Watch Over Me, and It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing).
The show will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2012 in the Bruyette Athenaeum’s Hoffman Auditorium on Saint Joseph College’s West Hartford campus. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and $15 for children. Reserved seating. Free parking.

Buffa! performs many different types of musical and theatrical entertainment. Its productions go beyond the traditional concert venue, incorporating sets, costume changes, and props for a full theatrical experience.
