Culture Connect Featured Event

The Artisan Trail will take place on Saturday, October 6th from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This event will showcase eleven area artists who will be opening studios throughout Northwestern Connecticut, from Newtown to Kent. It will give participants the opportunity to see artists at work in their studio, where they will be available to explain their craft and offer demonstrations at each stop. Artwork will also be for sale at each venue. This free Connecticut Artisan Trail Tour will commence at BCC where participants will be given a Map of the eight studios (with directions) and a short bio of each participating artist. We will have signage at each studio for easy identification, and volunteers will staff the BCC Open house. The Gallery and its studios will be open also for the public to visit for a closer look to learn more about BCC's many class offerings.
