A Three-Part Seminar Series
WEST HARTFORD, CONN. – The Art Gallery at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) will sponsor a three-part seminar series led by professionals who will provide insightful tips for collectors: from purchasing and valuing artwork to safeguarding your collection. What to Expect When You’re Collecting will be held on March 21, April 18 and May 9, 2013 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Dr. Vincent J. and Gloria Marcello Turco ’45 Print Study Room of the Art Gallery in The Bruyette Athenaeum located on USJ’s West Hartford campus at 1678 Asylum Avenue. - Valuing Artwork: Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. will feature Art Appraiser Lewis Shepard, who will address techniques and best practices when researching and valuing your art.
