The 2013 Breadbox Folk Concert Series kicks off with Amy Gallatin & Stillwaters on Sunday, February 24 at 5 p.m. at 220 ValleyStreet, Willimantic.

The powerhouse duo of Amy Gallatin and renowned resophonic guitarist Roger Williams will perform folk and country standards, served up with a touch of bluegrass. The result is a toe-tapping blend of heartfelt vocals, soulful harmonies and red-hot picking, traditional yet modern and distinctive.  The duo will be joined by veteran bassist Eric Levenson, and by Roger William's son, J.D., whose musical kinship complements his father's style. Opening for Amy Gallatin will be guitar virtuoso and encyclopedia of old songs, Train Wreck Jerry.

Admission is $10. Proceeds support the St. Paul’s Covenant Soup Kitchen.  Check out more upcoming events at www.breadboxfolk.org . For reservations, call Bruce John at 860-429-4220.
