Art of the Northeast, is one of the most anticipated regional juried shows of the year at the Silvermine Guild Arts Center, traditionally drawing over 1200 entries, and open to all media and artists throughout New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This year’s juror is Douglas Dreishpoon, chief curator at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York. Throughout its history Art of the Northeast (AONE), originally called Art of New England, has been a showcase for many emerging artists who have gone on to receive national acclaim. Jurors have included curators and directors of major galleries and museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MOMA and the Whitney Museum.
