Culture Connect Featured Event
The Noah Webster House brings you an exciting fundraiser centered around Webster’s impact on American culture. Emceed by NBC Connecticut News Today’s co-anchor Brad Drazen, and includes live music, hearty appetizers, wine and beer tasting, and an auction. The featured entertainment will be a game show hosted by Merriam-Webster’s Editor-at-Large Peter Sokolowski. The winning team’s points become dollars to support school programs for underserved children. Music by the Hartt School of Music.

During hors d'oeuvres and dinner, entertainment will be provided by cast members of THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE. The actors are currently students in the Hartt Theatre Division Music Theatre Program at The University of Hartford.
Each year the museum serves approximately 2,000 children free of charge from lower income communities around greater Hartford and over 10,000 children statewide..
Reservations are highly recommended. General tickets are $50 in advance ($60 after April 24 or at the door). Champions of Noah Webster tickets are $75 and include an acknowledgment in the museum’s newsletter of the individual’s support. A portion of the ticket price is tax deductable to the extent allowed by law and will help to support the museum’s school programs.
