The 14th annual DanceMasters Weekend is one of the most anticipated dance events in the Northeast, an opportunity like no other for a two-day dance immersion, combining inspiring performances by premier companies with master classes by expert instructors. Thirteen Master Classes provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced dance students and dance professionals to explore diverse dance techniques.
On Saturday, March 9, Master Classes will be taught by Karole Armitage (Armitage Gone! Dance), Donald Borror (Ballet Hispanico), Camille A. Brown (Camille A. Brown & Dancers), Ronald K. Brown (Evidence Dance Company), Carolyn Kirsch (Never Stop Moving: A Fosse-Style Jazz Workshop for Older Dancers), KT Nelson (ODC/Dance), and Dianne Walker (Tap).
And on Sunday, March 10, Master Classes will be taught by Brandon "Peace" Albright (Hip Hop), Brian Brooks (Brian Brooks Moving Company), Christal Brown (Urban Bush Women), Dana Moore (Jazz), Troy Powell (Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater), and Kate Skarpetowska (Lar Lubovitch Dance Company).
