There was a time not too long ago that up and coming actors would hone their skills diong summer theater. Summer stock companies culd be found in many places throughout New England. Some are still around, but many summer theater companies have folded. One of those companies was the Nutmeg Summer Playhouse. The theater started in 1949, and entertained thousands in the Storrs area and beyond, until the company closed back in 2002. But now The Nutmeg Summer Playhouse is back in business. On this morning's Morning Edition, Ray Harman Talked with David G. Woods, Dean of the School of Fine Arts about the summer series, which begins in Storrs tonight.
