The Commission on Enhancing Agency Outcomes is a bipartisan group of legislators and state officials with two primary duties – to uncover overlap and redundancies in state Government, and to find ways to streamline state services. Through the fall they listened to testimony from the public, and quietly worked behind the scenes to complete their initial report to the Governor and the General Assembly. The report was issued February 1st with over 50 proposals to make state Government work more efficiently and cheaply.
Your Public Media’s Ray Hardman has a profile of this decidedly low profile commission.
